So as probably all you people know, a huge earthquake rocked the central south part of Chile last weekend (Feb. 27th).
I decided to start a small personal project that i want to share with you… it’s a visual-book with a personal view and reflexions about the earthquake that affected my country, and my city. i will soon print this small visual-book and sell it donating all proceeds to Red Cross.

Bueno como varios puedan saber a traves de mi twitter estuve anunciando un pequeño proyecto personal, basado en el terremoto, que aun nos afecta como país. Basicamente es un pequeño libro documental con pequeñas reflexiones y datos para pensar y simplemente para documentar este hecho historico que sacudio a mi pais, y ciudad. Pronto tendre versiones impresas del mismo que vendere y todo lo recaudado sera donado a la Cruz Roja.

Esta es la portada que hice para los chilenos de Sinkarma para su próximo disco llamado “Rahez” …estos chicos están buenísimos! (si es que te gusta el metal alternativo).

Im still shocked about the news…but Stew which was my boss while working at Hurley/Science, passed away last tuesday of a sudden heart attack. Im really gonna miss you Taste, was really nice to know you and a pleasure working with you…really good times and memories… All my thoughts are for his family specially Judi, his wife. Ill see you on the other side Stew. Taste it!.

The picture you see right here, was the last one i took from him while we were attending at the Rick Griffin art show at the Laguna Art Museum back in 07… good times.

So as this year just started i needed to get some new business cards (which are essential to anyone…remember first impressions are always important) to go through it and i went to the amazing dudes at The Mandate Press to get this job printed and i think they did an amazing work…im really happy and proud of these babies.

Como este año ya comenzó, necesitaba unas nuevas tarjetas de presentación (creo que son esenciales para cualquier…recuerden que las primeras impresiones son siempre muy importantes) para estar a la altura de lo que se viene. Así que acudí donde la gente de The Mandate Press para cumplir con esta tarea de traerlas a la vida, y creo realmente que hicieron un trabajo impresionante…estoy muy orgulloso y feliz de estas maravillas.

As you all know Haiti is going through some terrible stuff after the earthquake that destroyed almost everything and took thousands of lives…

Como todos saben Haiti esta pasando por un terrible momento despues del terremoto que destruyo casi todo y que cobro la vida de miles…

…so as we all have seen through TV, have realized we can do as little as only donate money to the red cross…so instead i just wanted to give you a little extra “thing” for your donation.
If you actually havent donated any money (yet) or are you whilling to do it soon, lets do this… i did a themed poster called “Hope Haiti” if you like it i will set a price range and you choose how much you want to pay, and all the money that ill get from it it, will be totally donated (100%) to help raise funds and help the relief of Haiti.
The poster is 18×24″ printed in high matte stock. All hand signed and numbered.

Posters are here finally from the printer and they look just great!! though i have to specify that i didnt went with the Matte finish on them but i went with Glossy. It was only a last minute decision… so here are the screenshots.

Los posters han llegado de la imprenta y se ven increibles!!, pero debo detallarles que finalmente el acabado de los mismos no es Matte sino Glossy. Esto fue una decision de ultimo minuto pero para mejor del poster….asi que aca estan los screenshots.

Going through old sketches i found this idea and i thought it was time to bring it to life.

“Point Of View” its about how all of us have/use the same “tool” to get all our info yet we all see/do different things.

Though i conceived this to be a poster i just did a free iPhone – iPod version to be used as a wallpaper that you can download from here.

Revisando algunos bosquejos encontré esta idea y pensé que era el momento apropiado de darle vida.

“Point Of View” (Punto De Vista) trata de como todos nosotros tenemos/usamos la misma “herramienta” para obtener toda nuestra informacion sin embargo todo vemos/hacemos cosas diferentes.

A pesar de que esta pieza fue hecho para ser un poster/afiche hice una versión wallpaper gratis para sus iPhone o iPod. Pueden descargar el wallpaper desde acá.

Welcome back guys!, so this first decade is finally gone and we are already heading into a new year. I’m super excited for all the upcoming projects we have on the table so far for this year. So basically thats it, i wanted to tell you that im back that i already have some big plans for this year so im really looking forward to them.

Bienvenidos nuevamente!, ya se nos ah ido esta primera década y ya entramos a un nuevo año. Año que trae consigo grandes planes y que estoy muy emocionado de poder realizarlos. Bueno, básicamente era contarles de que acá estoy de vuelta y con las pilas puestas para realizar todos los proyectos que ya estamos haciendo.
